Ordering Overview
New Order Instructions
Step 1. Select Products

In the left column of the Product Catalog, click on the type of product you are interested in buying. You will see a list of all the products in the category. Click on the product you would like to purchase. Please note that, depending on your profile, you may not be able to purchase all products.

Step 2. Specify the Quantity

Enter the desired order quantity for each product, and then click Add Item To Cart. You will receive notification that an item has been added, and the Shopping Cart will be updated with the new item count.

Step 3. Select Billing and Shipping Information

By clicking on View Cart at the top of the page, you can select billing and shipping information from pull-down menus. (If you have only one billing or shipping account attached to your profile on MerckVaccines.com, you will not have the option to make selections.) You can also select standard shipping (free) or express (overnight) shipping. In addition, you have the option of entering your Purchase Order Number as well as the name of the person receiving the order.

You may ship your order to more than one location. In the Shipping Information section, select the Multiple Locations radio button. You will have to designate the shipping destination for each product. Then choose the product(s) for each shipping location.

When you are finished, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the Apply Changes button followed by the Continue button.

Step 4. Specify Payment Method

On the Payment Options screen you will have the option to select your form of payment. You may either use your Merck Account and be invoiced or pay by credit card.

To set up payment by credit card: If you select New Credit Card, you will be asked to enter your credit card information.

When you are finished, click on the Continue button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5. Confirm Order

On the Confirm Order screen, please verify your information. If some information is incorrect, you may go back to previous sections by clicking on either the Back to Shopping Cart or Change Payment Method links at the bottom of the page. After you have verified that all information is correct, click on the Submit Order button at the bottom of the page.

Step 6. Order Complete:

After placing your order, you will be taken to the Order Complete screen. On this page you can view the details of your order. You can print the information by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking on Print Order.

You will also receive this information via e-mail if we have your e-mail address on file.

Reorder Previous Order Instructions
Step 1. View Order History

Visit the Order History section of the site. You can search for orders by date. Select the order that contains the items you would like to purchase again. You will see an Order Detail page that will list basic information about your order.

Step 2. Copy Order to Shopping Cart

On the Order Detail page, click on the Copy Order to Shopping Cart button at the bottom of the page. Doing this will duplicate a previous order and add it to your Shopping Cart.

NOTE: Some products cannot be reordered through this process.

  • Pharmaceutical products
  • Discontinued vaccine products or formulations
  • Vaccines previously shipped to a temporary drop-ship location
Step 3. Select Billing and Shipping Information
